Pamela Zimmer is a founding partner and Principal Architect of Gaunt-Zimmer Design. She has a Bachelor of Architecture and over
10 years of experience in the field of architecture, all within the Truckee-Tahoe area.
Her strengths are her ability to clearly and efficiently document a project from its early conceptual ideas to project closeout, as well as coordination between consultants, builders and owners. She has worked on residential, commercial
and healthcare projects and has a fine attention to detail and the uniqueness of each project. She prides herself in listening to clients and making every effort to keep projects within budget and on schedule.
Pam has successfully worked on various projects within the community and with organizations such as the Town of Truckee, Tahoe Truckee Unified School District; Nevada County;
Tahoe Forest Hospital District; and Lahontan, Northstar and Tahoe Donner Community Design Review Boards. Contacts for these projects are available for references upon request.
The focus of Pam's architectural work is to bring sustainable design into reality using creative solutions and keeping individual projects unique to themselves, as well as to the surrounding area. Through the study of site, program and resources – both the natural / physical and financial – and with the joint efforts of the project team, Pam reaches to fill a void within the built environment.
With her energetic personality, Pam brings creative solutions to design problems. Through communication, leadership, technical skills and the exploration of new ideas,
she is committed to successfully completing each project.
